The Accommodation comprises of - Spacious lounge / dining area comfortably seating eight with more dining seating to the balcony 3 double bedrooms, with fitted wardrobes (bed linen is available during rental periods) Fully fitted and equipped kitchen Bathroom and a Shower room with sink & wc The villa, which is set in lovely well-maintained gardens, has views of mountains and sea glimpses and is situated on the outskirts of woodland on a no through road - an ideal quiet area for children to play. Car Hire is advised while staying at the villa due to the it being situated on a picturesque hill side. The large private pool measures 40ft x 18ft and there is parking for 3 cars plus garage. Weekly rates are as follows: To 27th May £500 ( €750 ) 21st May - 19th June £600 ( €900 ) 20th June - 1st July £750 ( €1.125 ) 2nd July onwards £1,000 ( €1.500 ) 1st September to 23rd September £600 ( €900 ) 24th September onwards £500 ( €750 ) L'Escala is a small fishing village that has grown gently over the years. It is situated between Figueres and Gerona at about 50Km from the French border. Nearest airports are Gerona (32 miles) and Perpignan Airport (68 miles). It is also about one and a half hours drive from Barcelona and approximately one hour from the ski slopes. L'Escala's beaches are rated as some of the best and cleanest; Riells beach is shallow and therefore ideal for young children whilst Empuries beach consists of some 11 Kms of fine sandy beach which runs past the famous Greek / Roman ruins (a must to visit), and where the 1992 Olympic Torch arrived in Spain. There is also the Dali museum close by which is the second most visited museum in Spain. It is a water sports paradise and everything that you could need is for hire. L'Escala is also renowned as a gastronomic centre where you will find full menus for just 6 Euros (about £4) up to full 5 star restaurants.
