Set in a Catalan Village only 4km from the Med and close to the town of Roses
‘Rincon Feliz’ is on a small complex in the village of Palau Saverdera with a communal swimming pool and landscaped gardens. The apartment is beautifully situated on the edge of a National Park, 4km from the Mediterranean with fantastic views to the Pyrenees and the sea. Palau Saverdera is 4km from the sea at Roses and 12km from Figueres (home of the famous Salvador Dali museum). This Palau Saverdera Apartment is bright and spacious, finished with warm materials such as wood, terracotta and natural stone. It offers all mod cons including heating / air conditioning, washing machine, halogen hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. ‘Rincon Feliz’ can sleep 6 people in 3 bedrooms - One master bedroom suite with a king size bed (fitted storage and dressing room and en suite bathroom), two twin bedded rooms (both with fitted wardrobes). There is also a separate shower room and toilet. It has a fully equipped kitchen and sitting room with sofa, easy chair, dining table and chairs. The sitting room is equipped with CD player, TV, book and CD library. There are three terraces - one to the front of the sitting room equipped with dining table and chairs and barbecue for 'al fresco' eating, one to the front of the master bedroom with sun loungers and large parasol, These two terraces have spectacular uninterrupted views of the Bay of Roses and the Pyrenees. The third terrace over looks mountains to the rear of the apartment. There is underground secure car parking for 1 car with additional parking if required. The grounds include a communal swimming pool and landscaped gardens.

| Terms: One third of the hire cost at the time of booking with the remainder due 8 weeks before your arrival. All prices are in Pounds and rental commences on a Saturday in high and mid season. At other times of the year rental start days can be flexible. The cost includes heat / air conditioning, electricity and weekly cleaning. Towels and bedding included We ask for a £100 key/security deposit, this is refunded once keys are returned and contents checked (normally within 1 week of departure). This is strictly a no smoking apartment.

In the summer months, making the most of the sun around the pool or on one of the beautiful nearby beaches fits the bill. There are numerous interesting towns and villages to visit, many having markets where fantastic fresh regional produce can be bought. There are many historical sights such as the roman remains at Empuries and the Salvador Dali museum at Figueres. Outdoor pursuits are available in the vicinity such as horse riding, wind surfing, diving and walking in the Cap Creus national park. If you want to eat out there are numerous restaurants to choose from including the 3 Michelin star ‘El Bulli’ Rincon Feliz is a 45 minute drive from Girona airport. Many low cost carriers (eg. Ryanair) now fly in to Girona from most regional airports for as little as £0.01p in the low season! You can also fly to Perpignan and drive to Palau within the hour. Cars can be hired at Girona or Perpignan airports. The Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry is the best route into France then a 2 day drive is a more leisurely option.
