A lovingly furnished apartment to rent, just ten
minutes walk from the medieval cobble-stoned streets of Girona old
town.
Sleeping up to five people, this first floor apartment is a popular
all-year round holiday home. The apartment includes a lounge, a salon
and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Both the salon and the master
bedroom look directly across the valley to the old town and the
Cathedral, as shown by the view from the terrace (above).
Girona is an excellent base for exploring the Northern Costa Brava
and is well served by the budget airlines flying into Gerona.

The old town is reached by a stroll through the Sant Daniel Valley,
with the monastery gardens providing a short cut to the dramatic city
Cathedral. The Apartment is perched on a south-facing hillside just
behind Girona's old quarter, the private terrace typically enjoys 12
hours of daily sunshine in Summer.
Parking is available immediately outside the apartment. The apartment
is completely free of passing traffic, due to its traffic-free
cul-de-sac location. Winter visitors are likely to require central
heating at night, which is provided throughout the apartment.
The accommodation has the following facilities:
Fully equipped modern kitchen including a freezer, fridge, microwave,
grill, hob & oven.
Lounge with seating for five people, featuring an attractive stone
fireplace.
Separate salon with a dining table and seating for five people giving
access to the terrace, with views of Girona Cathedral.
Master bedroom with a double bed, also enjoying direct access to the
terrace, with views across the valley to the Cathedral.
Second bedroom with twin bunk beds.
Third bedroom with a single bed.
Bathroom with bath and shower.
Guests are welcome to make use of the washing machine, which is
located on the second (top) floor of the building. There are both
indoor and outdoor washing lines. The Apartment has a wide selection
of local guides and maps, which provide useful information on the
beaches of the Costa Brava, as well as tips on visiting local towns
and villages. Although lying within a ten minute walk of the old town,
the Apartment also lies on the edge of open countryside, as shown
below (the apartment is the white building in the middle of the
photo).

These rates are
all-inclusive, including heat and power, and the use of towels and bed
linen, ie there are no hidden extras! Parts of a week a charged
pro-rata and can start and end on any day of the week.
Payment may be made in Euro or Sterling.
A deposit of £150
pounds is required at the time of booking, with the remaining balance
to be paid two months before your visit.
Access & Suitability: Given its first
floor location, the apartment is unfortunately inaccessible by
wheelchair.
The apartment lies within a short 10 minute walk of the old town.
However, the latter part of the return walk back to the apartment
involves a bit of a climb uphill, so the apartment is likely to be
unsuitable for the elderly or infirm.
Children are very welcome. We regret that pets are not allowed. We
also ask that you kindly refrain from smoking in the apartment itself.
