lovely detached villa is located in a quiet tree lined road in Sa Punta,
Platja de Pals on the Costa Brava. It enjoys a great deal of privacy and
has a safe garden and private pool for guests sole use.
This detached villa completed in August 2002 and benefiting from
air-conditioned bedrooms is ideally located, being just a few minutes
walk to the beach. The supermarket, shops and restaurants are nearby and
tennis courts a few minutes away. There are 3 golf courses within 10
minutes of the villa and further courses within 30 minutes drive.
The garden affords a good degree of privacy and has sun-beds, table and
chairs for outdoor dining, a barbecue and sun parasols. For younger
guests there are inflatable and noodles for the pool, bat/ball, boules
and other games.
The property comprises 3 bedrooms: The master bedroom has a double bed,
chest of drawers and built in wardrobe and benefits from of a private
balcony with table and chairs, an en-suite bathroom and
air-conditioning. The two further bedrooms each have twin beds, table
and built in wardrobes. There is a family shower-room and toilet off the
corridor. For guest’s convenience, all bedrooms have alarm
clock/radio and a hairdryer.
Downstairs, the property has a large L-shaped living room. The Lounge
is triple aspect and has four sofas, television with satellite TV
(English) with DVD player, Hi Fi system with radio, MP3 facility with
IPOD dock, a large selection of books and games. For those visitors who
come in the early and later seasons there are radiators and open fire to
keep you cosy
The dining area has seating for 8 and overlooks the front and rear of
the property and also has a door leading to the terrace. The fully
equipped kitchen has a good size fridge freezer, full size oven and hob,
dishwasher, kettle, toaster and microwave. There is also a downstairs
cloakroom and separate laundry with washing machine, iron, ironing board
and outside there is a rotary clothes- drier.
The patio doors lead onto the terrace with table and chairs and which
has an awning to protect you from the midday sun. This overlooks the
private pool.
In the private garden are sun-loungers and a great BBQ for alfresco
dining. The garden enjoys a good degree of privacy and has a good-sized
patio. The garden is planted with shrubs and colourful pots. The private
pool has built-in lights for evening swims, and measures 20' x 10’.
Platja de Pals is very easily accessible by plane, being approximately
45 minute’s drive from Girona airport, 1 hr 45 minutes from
Barcelona and 40 miles south of the French border. La Pineda is equipped
with Satellite TV, dishwasher, full size oven, fridge freezer microwave
and other usual comforts.
It is just 8 minutes walk to Platja de Pals beach, only 3 minutes to a
supermarket, shops and restaurants, 150m to tennis courts and 400m to
Pals Golf Course There are two further golf courses within about 4km,
and also an 18 hole pitch and putt course with a driving range about
6km. There is parking at the beach for about €2 euros a day for
those who want to take it really easy
The tennis club has 4 hard courts and 4 clay courts. There is also a
squash court, mini golf and a playground for very young children. At
Pals beach there are bars, casual dining and in the summer banana boat
rides and doughnuts.Approximately 3 Km inland is the medieval town of
Pals that has been beautifully restored over recent years and
encompasses many interesting small gift and specialist shops and some
very good restaurants. Markets are held in the area on an almost daily
basis. From Estartit you can take a glass bottomed boat trip to the
Isles de Medes (Spain's first sea nature reserve).

your arrival.
Bed-linen and towels for guests are provided and these are changed each
week.
