In the summer months of June, July, August and September - perfect sunbathing weather. Although it may be humid during the day, the coast breezes ensure dryer air while retain a comfortable warmth. Daytime temperatures, particularly in July and August often exceeds 35oC (95oF In the Autumn months of September, October and November, the slightly lower temperatures are compensated by fewer tourists. So September is definitely one of the best times to visit the Costa Brava. Freezing conditions are very rarely experienced in the Winter months of December, January and February, when average temperatures are 7oC (45oF). Evening can get chilly. Although showers can be expected during March, April and May, the springtime rapidly gets under way as the temperatures climb towards the summer. |
