Badalona is situated on the Maresme coast in Catalonia, 7miles (11km) northeast of Barcelona.

Badalona is the third biggest municipality in Catalonia with a population approaching ¼ million. It is both a popular tourist destination and a dormitory city for Barcelona.

The town is 16 miles (25½km) from Barcelona's El Prat airport. Check Skyscanner for flights to both airports from every UK airport.. Badalona is well connected by rail with frequent Rodalies trains to Sants in Barcelona city, then RNFE trains to Badalona. It is a 30 minute drive from El Prat airport - the route is given in detail on viamichelin.co.uk.
