The Roses Expres - A round-trip dotto train ride from Roses to the Parc Natural Cap de Creus
The
Roses Expres is a "Dotto" type road-train of two carriages
pulled by an ornate tractor-style engine. It is a wonderful means of
experiencing the landscapes and panoramas of the immediate this
fascinating and contrasting area. The train has frequent excursions of one, two and three hours, the longest including the hillside of Puig Rom (great views of Canyelles Petites), L'Almadraba, Cala Montjoi and onwards into the Cap Creus Nature Reserve Park including the monolithic Dolmen de la Creu d'en Cobertella.

Excursions
start and end at the 'terminus' at the Citadel end of Roses seafront,
near the tourist boat operators.The same company operates the Cadaques Expres, on one and two hour trips. The two hour journey takes in the extreme easterly part of Cap Creus, with views of Port Lligat and onwards to the very impressive tip of Cap Creus - Spain's most easterly point.
